William Indruk, MD, FACEP
Dr. William Indruk is an emergency physician with 30 years of experience in acute care and
emergency medicine. A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Indruk
completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Wilmington Medical Center in Wilmington,
Delaware. He has been board-certified in emergency medicine since 1982 and is a life Fellow of
the American College of Emergency Physicians.
For ten years, Dr. Indruk served as Director
of the Department of Emergency Medicine at a
busy teaching hospital in northern New Jersey,
where he received "Outstanding Teacher" and
"Humanitarian of the Year" awards from the Internal
Medicine and Family Practice residency programs.
He has special interests in medical informatics
and cardio-vascular medicine and serves as a
member of the Regional Faculty of the American
Heart Association. He received the NJ ACEP award
for "Clinical Expertise" in 2002 and was named one
of the "Top Docs" in emergency medicine by New Jersey
Monthly Magazine in 2006.
Dr. Indruk is a founding member and former
Board Chairman of a physician-owned emergency
physician group which currently numbers approximately
200 physicians and provides services at multiple
locations in New York and New Jersey.
